It was extremely easy to use the Vocaroo voice recorder. I did find it hard to edit my own recording, because I could not stand to hear my uneasy voice. It took me at least 10 edits before I completed my finished product. I do not plan to use voice-recording in my classroom, but I can see where it might be useful when teaching an online course. Overall, the experience was not horribly unpleasant.
Aside from the podcast, I absolutely despised using iMovie. I found it difficult to navigate, even after viewing the video. I also had trouble trying to clip my audio files. They should make it a separate window altogether. After the experience I had, I cannot imagine using iMovie again. Despite how much time it took me, my video looks really simple and non extravagant. In addition, for a 2 minute video, it took me 60 minutes to upload my video to YouTube. I actually had to plug in my computer to save my battery.
I could not figure out how to embed my podcast, but I did link it in my blog.
